Hammonton NJ Hot Spot Gets Shout Out from SJ Native Kelly Ripa

South Jersey girl Kelly Ripa gave a special shout out to a Hammonton hot spot on her talk show with Ryan Seacrest.

Ripa, a native of Berlin, Camden County and graduate of Eastern High School, talked about how tasty the Whiskey Sour's were at the old Sweetwater Casino, now Sweetwater Marina and Riverdeck in Hammonton. The only problem is that she was underage at the time, lol! She apparently ate the fruit from her parents' cocktails.

So, it sounds like it's not just the locals that appreciate the views, service, and attention to detail a lot of us love about Sweetwater.

The folks at Sweetwater couldn't help but relish the moment, posting a clip of Kelly's endorsement to their official Facebook page. Check out the video below.

It seems like just yesterday Kelly hit the big time, landing the role of Hayley Vaughn on the ABC soap opera All My Children, where she met husband Mark Consuelos. That was 1990, and it's awesome to see she still shows her home state some love.
