You’ve Used These Excuses at Least Once During the Quarantine
Let's face it, most of us had pretty solid intentions for the time we were to spend in quarantine while the world was trying to thwart the spread of COVID-19.
We said we'd keep to a schedule, redecorate the house, get in shape; the list goes on an on. Unfortunately, most of us haven't accomplished nearly as much as we intended to while stuck inside these past few months. Not throw out ANOTHER excuse, but it's understandable we didn't conquer everything since most of us were playing parent, teacher, maid, chef, and regular employee all the while hoping and praying our jobs didn't disappear. For a lot of us, it did.
There are some goals on our list though that could've been accomplished if we didn't dip into the usual 'excuse bowl' to give ourselves a way out.
According to a survey by the skincare brand CeraVe, people come up with excuses at least five times a day in an effort to avoid one activity or another. 35% of people come up with an excuse to avoid exercise while 33% of people use one ease the guilt of not eating healthy.

49% of people use the "tired" excuse almost daily. You probably really are tired, but the likelihood that's stopping you from accomplishing whatever you originally wanted to is slim to none.
While 48% of people use money as an excuse for many reasons, it may not actually be an excuse right now. So many of us are struggling to make ends meet right now.
The only thing we can count on right now is time. We have all the time in the world right now. With the kids' school year winding down, soon there will be nothing BUT time.
This excuse is super annoying if you're talking about doing something with or for your friends. For example, if someone says it's inconvenient to pick up the phone and check in with you once a month when you constantly check in on them, it's not a matter of inconvenience.... they just don't prioritize about the friendship as much as you.
Speaking from experience, forgetfulness is absolutely a personality trait, unfortunately. Some people may say they're forgetful when they actually don't feel like doing something, but they're afraid to say that. However, on the flip side of that, some people really do forget things a lot.
