In the words of a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, "I'd like to buy a vowel."

If you've been near the marina in Atlantic City recently, perhaps you have seen the giant sign high atop The Water Club sans "A."

All in good fun, we are happy to report that, no, the letters are not socially distancing themselves.

Nor has the Mays Landing bear taken the letter A from the sign.

And no, The Water Club is not changing to "The Wuter Club" because that's how people from South Jersey say the word "water."

The official word from folks at Borgata is that the "A" was knocked out of place during a recent storm.

Fans of the "A" (and let's be honest, we're all fans!) have nothing to worry about -- we are happy to report that, "the A is safe and sound" (their words) and it will return to its rightful place in the _tlantic City skyline in the near future.

All kidding aside, at 460 feet The Water Club is the fourth-tallest building in Atlantic City. Given the crazy weather that we've seen over the past few months, we can certainly see how the sign could have been damaged.
